I have read policy papers on fare hikes and what is interesting
is that the fare hikes are calculated on the basis of "CPI +
X".
The implication of this is that, if there is inflation, then the
bus fare also goes up.
AND
If operating costs went up, X also goes up and the fare hikes
get pushed even further.
How interesting.
